Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Bryce Larsen moved at age seven to Long Island, NY, but it wasn’t until after high school that his growing interest in making music truly became a passion.
During a 2-year stint at Rutgers University studying biomedical engineering, Bryce realized that his heart was more in the shows that he played on the weekends than in the curriculum he was pursuing. He soon transferred back home to study music and practiced and performed like his life depended on it, because it did.
While the band that he fronts, Stealing Jane, continues to gain followers and critical acclaim, Bryce’s last solo album, “Sport Of Kings,” is also consistently selling on iTunes and returning rave reviews.
Straight from his most recent success on YouTube, “Hip Hip Un-Popped!” (Triple Pop, 2009) is Bryce’s first album adapting current hip hop/R&B songs into his very own unique acoustic guitar sound. Simplified and stripped to the bone, these songs take on a whole new dimension.
